Figuring out intarsia

I was happy to see this email from Interweave/Knitting Daily today. It’s basically an advertisement for their Inside Intarsia with Anne Berk video, and I recommend this video if you’re a little wary about beginning any intarsia project. I got it a month or so ago when Interweave was having their big media sale and it taught me a few things I didn’t know!

In other news, I’m still working on the Spade Hat pattern. It’s been a super busy fall! I promise it will get done soon. Maybe it will get colder while I write it and my little hat model will actually want to wear it.

Also, if you are in Hunterdon County, NJ or are willing to travel, Purl Jam in Califon is having more classes! I teach the beginner classes on Saturdays. Here is a link to their classes *CLASSES*.

Purl Jam also got in over 60 skeins of Spun Monkey yarn last weekend, and I was there when the box was opened. It was better than Christmas! Check out some of what was sent:

I asked Helen to save me some Lint Trap… I wonder if it’s still there!
