We’ve owned our house for the past 5 years, and only recently found out about Angelfire Studios, and how it’s literally up the road from me. I think I didn’t know they were a yarn store, because of the name, so now I feel really dumb I haven’t been going there all this time!
Justine (owner) is always there to help you pick out what you need, too, and always makes great suggestions. Usually her adorable children are around to add to the great ambiance of the store. Her family is just so nice. But, unfortunately, I learned yesterday that her husband had a terrible accident at home and is in the ICU at one of our local hospitals.
On Ravelry, one of Justine’s friends wrote this:
Many of you may not know, but Justine’s beloved husband Ted has been in a terrible accident. All her time is now being spent at his bedside in an ICU. We all love knitting and we all love Justine. Here is how we can help:
“One Project Please”
The purchase of just one project from Angel Fire Studios can put food on her table and buy diapers for her son. Another purchase could buy the gas to get her back and forth from the hospital.
As a customer and friend of Angel Fire Studios and Justine I am hoping that along with your thoughts and prayers for her and her family each of you might consider One Project …Please. Just drop by her store or log onto the online store, www.angelfirestudios.com
My first time in there, I was really impressed that Justine carried all the really popular yarns. She has all the Spud & Chloe yarns and pattern, Malabrigo, Koigu KPPPM, Madelinetosh, a million and one types of Rowan (including Amy Butler’s line), Dream in Color, Debbie Bliss, Cascade… not to mention it has all the accessories you’d need, and, if you desire, you can learn to throw a pot to keep all the yarn you buy! So please, JUST ONE PROJECT is all it takes for you to help out her family. I got two projects (3 skeins of Spud and Chloe Outer to make the Hoot Hat, and a skein of Tosh Sock and the Ishbel pattern by Ysolda).
